CHRISTMAS With The SUPER-HEROES...

Here's yet another DC Limited Collectors' Edition I didn't have at the time, but I've got it now - or at least a Facsimile Edition of it.  I've previously read two of the stories elsewhere, but the remainder are new to me.  I love such publications because, not only do they take me right back to the '70s when the originals first went on sale, but also because there's usually an interesting mix of reprints in them.  Plus, they also give me material for Crivens so that you lot have something to look at when you're not watching paint dry.  So what else can I say - feast your eyes on the images on display.  And if you had this one when it was first released, feel perfectly free to declare it to the world via our captivating comments section.

    I have the Batman and the Bernie Wrightson stories, the rest are new to me.

    The Complete FF #13 and 14 featured a two-part story in which the Torch and Medusa get stranded in the Himalayas and then get captured by Ternak who plans to conquer the world by turning it into a frozen wilderness. Anyway those two issues came out on December 14th and 21st 1977 so they always remind me of my first Christmas in secondary school and the story's snowy theme only added to the "Christmassy" feel at the time.

      It's always good when the winter weather in the story coincides with real life, CJ, and makes the tale more memorable. I remember it was snowy in Daredevil #53, as it was in my home town the day I bought it (the comic, not the town), and I've got fond memories of it to this day. As you know, I still have my original issues of The Complete Fantastic Four and I remember the two-parter you mention.
