Art NATALI SANDERS. Copyright DC COMICS |
A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Curves in all the right places, she can poison me anytime.
ReplyDeleteYou'd certainly be 'dead' after a session with her, M - as in 'dead beat'.
DeleteI confess that for all the comics-versions of Ivy, I still find the original version the sexiest== and I say this knowing that Sheldon Moldoff wasn't exactly a purveyor of great pulchritude. But Infantino did design that costume that made one hunger for autumn, to see if her leaves fell.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall ever seeing a bad drawing of her, GP, whoever the artist was, but this one is certainly a cracker.
DeleteThe artists is Natali Sanders. Fabulous piece of artwork.
ReplyDeleteAnd a fabulous pair of t... eyes, McS.
DeleteNot that I tried to think of bad depictions of Ivy or anything, but when I reviewed the HBO Harley Quinn, I noticed that the show's version of the plant-princess really ratchets down her sex appeal. Possibly this was so that PI could better play the cooperative "femme" to Harley's zany "butch."
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen HBO's show, GP, as to be honest, I'm not all that interested in the characters from a story-telling point of view. Call me superficial. Incidentally, great as the illo in this post is, I'd say her arms look too short. Anyone else agree?
