A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

It's clearly Power Girl's arm but I agree it's rather embarrassingly placed!
ReplyDeleteOr it could be a novelty condom, CJ, that just happens to resemble Power Girl's fist.
DeleteI agree with Colin Jones' comment. My first thought was where does the image come from as I was unaware that there was a geriatric Superman?
ReplyDeleteHe's over 90 years old, T47 - of course he's a geriatric. (Created around '33 or '34, first published '38.)
DeleteI'm sure there must be a Superman porno parody you might be interested in, Kid? Changing the subject, we had a question in a pub quiz once, which appeared first? The Beano or Action Comics? I informed my team mates that they appeared the same year, 1938. Fortunately I remembered that Action Comics has June on the cover and The Beano was July. They'll both be celebrating their centenary soon, 13 years will 'fly by' if you'll pardon the pun. And of course assuming that The Beano lasts that long.
ReplyDeleteI can categorically state there's no porn, parody or otherwise, with Superman that I'd be interested in, M. Wonder Woman on the other hand...
DeleteAction Comics #1 was dated June, sure enough, though it probably went on sale around March. The Beano would've been printed around a fortnight or so before it was distributed to newsagents, and prepared at least six weeks before that. However, you're right - Action Comics appeared before The Beano, but The Dandy before AC, in 1937.
Maybe she cannot fly after all, and she is just hooking her arm around his shard of krypton, to hitch a ride? That cleavage would create some major aerodynamic drag, that's for sure, with a wee bit of protruding chilly nipple as well.
ReplyDeleteWhether she can fly or not, AAW, one thing is certain - she can most definitely float.
