Aw, just melts your heart, doesn't it?

  1. It's an AI dog, isn't it? Alsatian Infant?

    1. Dunno if it's AI or a painting, M. Definitely a German Shepherd puppy though.

  2. I thought it was an AI dog too.

    1. And it may well be, CJ, I'm not saying it isn't, but I just don't know. Nice though, innit?

  3. Cute as the proverbial button. Though I for one never found buttons especially cute.

    1. Depends on whose buttons you're undoing at the time, GP. I always ask first, of course, the ladies prefer it that way. (What a good memory I have.)

  4. Are you interested in getting a new puppy Kid.?

    1. No, I couldn't take a dog out on walks now, McS, as I can hardly walk myself and require a wheeled walker (Rollator) to get around. Also, I can't guarantee I'll be here for the full duration of a dog's life and I wouldn't like to think of my dog wondering what had happened to me and the stress it would cause it if it had to be given to someone else if I croaked.

Kid, you may like this? A realistic sleeping puppy that actually breaths, they are called 'Perfect Petzzz!' The battery last 3 months, and is easy to change. They do most breeds, but I thought this would suit you? (Amazon No. B07NJ3TMS5). My in-law's have a Spaniel one, and they love it. A pet in the house, without the responsibility.

    1. I've seen the rabbit one (no, not the women's 'toy') and it looks great. If I were to get one, it would be a German Shepherd, 'cos they're the best dogs in the universe. I've actually got a GS on a cushion, and it breathes and snores a bit when you switch it on. (The dog, not the cushion.)

    2. Took a look at the link, AAW, and that's the one I have, bought a good number of years ago. I thought you meant one like the rabbit, which actually moves and runs around. Looks real, though a bit cartoony.

Sounds very similar? That Amazon ASIN: number is for a German Shepherd breed. They don't have an on off switch, but the continuous battery life is easily 3 months, on one D battery. It's quite therapeutic, to occasionally pet it on passing.

    1. The one I have was only around £10 or £15 quite a number of years back, possibly around 20 or more. It looks the same as the one in the Amazon ad, but probably isn't as good quality. As for the rabbit, I thought it looked too good to be true.

Those Rabbits, if I'm not mistaken? Are shown on Amazon, using an AI animated ad, with them hopping, and pawing like real, but the Rabbit you actually receive for £29.95, is reported to be a cheap, China scam toy bunny, that does nothing, but mechanically hop. 'Got to love those Amazon Commies!'
