If you're a doddery old fart like me, you'll well remember the great GERRY ANDERSON puppet programmes of the '60s. Here's the latest, based on an idea by Gerry himself and developed and written by his son JAMIE (with the help of others obviously). It'll make you feel like you're a kid again.

With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Dinky no longer exists today (though some company issues retro-Dinky releases), so any new toys would probably be by Corgi, who did some Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet stuff a few short years ago. I like the resemblance of one of the craft to TB2 - that was a nice touch.
