A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

I can still re-read my Calvin and Hobbes collection and laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to get around to buying one of those collected editions myself one day, LG. C&H is a brilliant strip.
ReplyDeleteI have all the C&H collections (you can actually pick them up in charity shops for 50p in nice condition Kid)and they are all brilliant. Like the great Leo Baxendale, Bill Watterson was one of the few comedy artists that actually made me laugh (rather than just smile). It’s just a brilliant piece of work.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's a shame he doesn't do them anymore. I'll get those collections one day, PM. Although there's a big volume that has the complete set of them which I've got my eye on, but it's expensive.
