PART TWENTY ONE OF COMIC COVERS 'SNAP'! - FF #25 & TOM STRONG #21...

No point in explaining the point of this post - the title says it all!  ALAN MOORE is well-known by now for using or imitating other people's characters and concepts, then complaining when he thinks others have done the same thing to him.  What's that old saying about 'people in glass houses'?  His home must be freezing!

  1. Well, I do love a nice homage cover!
    And this is just that!
Never actually read any Tom Strong, after Watchmen, I felt Alan Moore's comics got a bit TOO "written purely for adults" for my tastes and lost interest somewhat.

  2. I bought the issue of Tom Strong (or associated title) that had the homage to the 1976 Supes/Spidey cover, but (cover apart) it was utterly underwhelming and instantly forgettable.

  3. It might be in my Comic Covers 'Snap'! series, JP, I'll check.
