A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Well, I do love a nice homage cover!
ReplyDeleteAnd this is just that!
Never actually read any Tom Strong, after Watchmen, I felt Alan Moore's comics got a bit TOO "written purely for adults" for my tastes and lost interest somewhat.
I bought the issue of Tom Strong (or associated title) that had the homage to the 1976 Supes/Spidey cover, but (cover apart) it was utterly underwhelming and instantly forgettable.
ReplyDeleteNot seen that cover, will seek it out!
DeleteIt might be in my Comic Covers 'Snap'! series, JP, I'll check.
