A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

That's a scene from Carry On Girls, isn't it ?
ReplyDeleteNo, CJ - it's a scene outside my bedroom door. There may have been a similar scene in Carry On Girls 'though. (See? Imagination is a wonderful thing.)
ReplyDeleteCould be wrong, but I believe it's from the riotous laugh-a-minute "No Sex Please, We're British"
ReplyDeleteNah, BS, CJ was right. (But don't tell him, it'll go to his head.)
ReplyDeleteWell, I assumed it was a scene from Carry On Girls because I can only think of two films starring Valerie Leon - Carry On Girls and Blood From The Mummy's Tomb...and I don't recall the latter featuring that scene :D
ReplyDeleteYes, but the girls personally re-created the moment for me because they adore me so much, CJ. (There! That sounds totally convincing.)
ReplyDeleteIf it pleases the court, my client should like to submit the following as evidence

The prosecution rests.
Well, whaddya know?! I always thought that screen-grab was from Carry On Girls. In my defence, the two babes had just left my bedroom after an exhausting night - playing scrabble. I never knew Ronnie Corbett was lurking outside 'though.
ReplyDeleteJust checked (over three years later) - both Valerie and Margaret WERE in Carry On Girls, so everybody's right.
