In March of 1973, the first issue of new comic SHIVER & SHAKE went on sale. Very much in the mould of WHIZZER & CHIPS in that it was 'two comics in one', it had a humorous horror theme permeating its pages. Making his return after just over five and a half years in limbo (if you ignore his two non-KEN REID illustrated pages in WHAM! Annual 1971) was mirthful monster FRANKIE STEIN, this time illustrated by ROBERT NIXON.
Here's his very first 'comeback' strip from S&S #1, along with the covers.
