A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Possibly Superman’s last truly great period in comics - Issue 438 is a wee corker I have (or had) all these books and the interior art is stunning,Mr Ordway knows how to draw comics. Why his man still isn't doing mainstream comics is beyond me (unless he is making a mint in advertising etc in which case well done he deserves it).
ReplyDeleteYeah, I lost interest in Superman many years ago, after the Byrne/Ordway/Frenz era. It was a mistake to have him marry Lois, in my estimation, just as it was for Peter Parker to marry Mary Jane. You should take a look at Jerry's blog in my bloglist, McS.
