FABULOUS FLASHBACKS - KEN REID'S FRANKIE STEIN...

Copyright REBELLION

Seeing as how it's the October 16th today, I thought we'd take a look at FRANKIE STEIN from WHAM! #70, cover dated, yes, you guessed it, the exact same date in 1965 - 50 years ago.  KEN REID was a unique talent, and, sadly, there are few artists (if any) working in comics today who can match his skill when it comes to portraying the kind of manic detail depicted in the page above.  Want to see more of Frankie?  Then let me know, comics fans.

  2. I like to think it's a trait we shared, McScotty. After all, it surely takes some kind of genius to antagonize as many people as I do - and so easily, too.

  4. Well, purely on a pedantic point, if it's infinite genius, there's only one level - so I've made it at last. Ta, nice of you to recognize it.
