A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

I remember when she was a regular on the original "Mission: Impossible." She always seemed to look bored and disdainful. But she was sexy, in a supercilious kind of way.
ReplyDeleteSuperciliously sexy will do for me, TC. Women tend to look down on me anyway (socially, not height-wise), on account of me being a male chauvinist pig. However, like I always say to them - it's better than being a woman who won't do as she's told.
ReplyDeleteI remember her from the the later Mission Impossible, they exchanged the Cinnamon Carter, stab you in the back with a hair pin character with something a little more vulnerable. She made an impression but I never saw much of her stuff after that, except a film she was in with James Woods. I rate her as a babe of the day, she is a stunner but she has a high maintenance air about her that punctures the fantasy a little.
ReplyDeleteSurely all women are high maintenance, DSE? They always want to know what you're thinking and whether their bum looks fat in something.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. I shudder to think of the reaction to (make that, the consequences of) trying to tell any of my idols (e.g., Diana Rigg, Julie Newmar, Hudson Leick, Linda Hamilton, Yancy Butler, Lucy Lawless, Sybil Danning, Jennette McCurdy, Cynthia Rothrock, Kathy Long) to "do as she's told." Can you say, "Multiple contusions and compound fractures"?
ReplyDeleteI like 'em feisty. :)
I think Lesley Warren was a semi-regular or maybe even a co-star on Desperate Housewives, and has often appeared in made-for-TV movies in recent years.
I don't watch Desperate Housewives, TC. (I'm not that desperate. Oh look, I made a pun.) Remember, all those women you named are ancient now, so wouldn't be able to give you much of a fight.
