A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

Kid,
ReplyDeleteCan't help thinking there is nothing else left to dramatise about Hartnell in his role as Dr Who.
Not talking about dramatising Hartnell, Ken _ I'm talking about 'untold' adventures featuring Bradley as the first Doctor.
ReplyDeleteWith you now. Recommendations for assistants? What post Hartnell aliens/villains? Bit of blank canvas for the writers to write around Hartnell's characterisation perhaps a few less special effects and a bit more detective element to it?
ReplyDeleteKen.
I think it's great idea Kid. David Bradley is too good as Hartnell to not use again. 'Untold tales of the first Doctor' would make a great occasional special.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about assistants, Ken - Susan, maybe? Certainly less of an SF slant to it, more a mysterious traveller who pops up at different points in history and helps people.

Terry, Bradley's Doctor had an authority and presence that's been lacking for a while now, in my estimation. Glad you like the idea.
