A cascading cornucopia of cool comics, crazy cartoons, & classic collectables - plus other completely captivating & occasionally controversial contents. With nostalgic notions, sentimental sighings, wistful wonderings, remorseful ruminations, melancholy musings, rueful reflections, poignant ponderings, & yearnings for yesteryear. (And a few profound perplexities, puzzling paradoxes, & a bevy of big, beautiful, bedazzling, buxom Babes to round it all off.)

kid,
ReplyDeleteThe Quicksilver pin-up looks like a Barry Smith drawing to my eyes. Iceman appears to be a swipe/alteration of a Werner Roth drawing.
I'd say you're spot-on with Iceman, Nick. The Quicksilver one I'm a little less sure of. Could be Smith, but - seems a little awkward to me. Could it be Parkhurst? I'm just not sure.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Spain.
ReplyDeleteI like this blog but a I miss pages in black and white in order to appreciate the drawings of masters like Kirby, Ditko, COlan, etc.
And greetings TO Spain.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the blog. There are quite a few black and white pages of Jack Kirby art in one post entitled "Vince the Prince - or Forgetta Colletta?" (if I remember correctly).
