I recently acquired this TOMY clockwork robot as a replacement for the one I had as a kid. (I always thought it was a MARX robot, but it isn't.) Interestingly, it was originally manufactured in two sizes - a small and slightly larger version. It also came in different colours - red, blue or grey (and maybe even black - I'm not sure). Sometimes the red one had grey arms and blue or black legs, and I'm sure the others had variable colour schemes as well. A thing of beauty, don't you think? Hands off - it's MINE!
