From SCORCHER, cover-dated May 30th 1970, comes KEN REID's comic strip, SUB.  I used to own the original art for this, but relinquished it a goodly number of years ago.  Can't remember if I've shown this page before, but I'm sure you can stand the repetition if I have.

Now this is what I call an effective cover. It utilised the official MARVEL DOCTOR DOOM mask (for when Marvel characters were used at PR events), and sported a great bit of lettering along the bottom of the cover.
