CURSE Of FRANKENSTEIN...

More great RUSS JONES and JOE ORLANDO art for you, cavortin' Criv-ites, in the shape of CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN.  Published in MONSTER WORLD #3 back in 1965, my only complaint is that it isn't an adaptation of the 1931 BORIS KARLOFF movie.  Oh well, can't have everything, I suppose.

And let's not forget the cover, below.

  1. In my opinion the Hammer film was much better than the 1931 original but neither was remotely like the novel.

    1. I suppose it's arguable which is the better film, CJ, but I'd say the 1931 movie has the better monster - Boris Karloff! No one can compete.

  3. Kid, you mixed up us Jones boys in your last reply. By the way, remember when I sent you that comment which mysteriously never arrived - it turns out my tablet had for some reason switched my Google account to anonymous so you deleted my comment when it arrived. Now I check before I send a comment.

    1. Don't worry, CJ - a whole 10 years later, I fixed it.

  4. So I did. I must've panicked when I saw I was being invaded by the Jones boys. "Class indeed, AJ. Can't dispute that." is what I should've typed. Smart thinking to check your comments before sending, CJ, because I delete all anonymous comments without reading them. And even some with names attached get deleted if, three or four words in, they look as if they're getting a bit cheeky.
