So many great comics that were around for so long during our childhoods and early adult years, now gone a long time and unlikely ever to return.Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07224781868125924337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3740495193314269367.post-4313002165956888312018-07-25T11:13:26.943+01:002018-07-25T11:13:26.943+01:00To paraphrase someone or the other....An elegant c...To paraphrase someone or the other....An elegant comic for a more civilized age...Vince and Sivhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05642910718810620215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3740495193314269367.post-91929491591210295212018-07-24T10:40:21.087+01:002018-07-24T10:40:21.087+01:00Yeah, they strips are great, aren't they? Two or three of the humour strips look like reprints from the '50s, but overall, it's a great little package. Maybe I'll hunt down the full year's worth for 1972.Kidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07224781868125924337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3740495193314269367.post-26629533360293774642018-07-23T23:50:30.206+01:002018-07-23T23:50:30.206+01:00Sadly I stopped buying Buster (apart from the ver...Sadly I stopped buying Buster (apart from the very odd issue) around late 1971 in favour for US comics and MWOM etc- from the read out on the strips that were in this issue I made a mistake what a great line up, although at 12 years old I probably thought they were too childish. Buster was one of my favourite comics of all time (with Smash being my favourite....just).
